Tienne McKenzie

Dan's wife and "right hand man," Tienne has been with the firm in one capacity or another since its start.

Born in Sydney, Australia, and raised in Chicago, Tienne graduated with honors from the University of Michigan (1998) , where she met Dan. Her enthusiasm for international issues led her to Washington, DC, where she published a monthly newsletter for the non-governmental agency InterAction. Following Dan to Chicago for law school, she worked in the legal department of the Jane Addams Hull House Association.

As senior paralegal, she works closely with clients to codify their wishes for incapacity, supervises the drafting of documents, and provides guidance to support staff to ensure all client concerns are responsibly addressed.

Always a full-service mom, Tienne has also been an active member of the community as an on-site volunteer with various organizations. With two kids in college and two at home, she has developed a solid background in conflict resolution, integrative management, adolescent development and motivational speaking. She is passionate about work/life balance, nutrition, literature, and social justice.
