Dennis Newman
Attorney
Personal Experience
Dennis Newman brings something rare to estate planning: he is both a licensed attorney and a Nationally Certified Counselor. For Colorado families navigating emotionally complex decisions — blended families, non-traditional relationships, incapacity planning, or difficult family dynamics — that combination makes a meaningful difference.
While most attorneys are trained to draft documents, Dennis is also trained to listen. His counseling background shapes every client interaction, helping people feel heard, understood, and confident in decisions that will protect the people they love most.
Dennis focuses his practice on estate planning, wealth transfer, trust administration, and probate matters. He works closely with clients to create thoughtful, personalized plans that reflect their values, protect their loved ones, and preserve what they've worked to build. He also collaborates with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals to ensure that clients' estate plans are fully integrated with their broader financial picture.
Licensed in both Colorado and Florida, Dennis practiced estate planning law in Florida before relocating to Colorado, where he later earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. This credential now informs everything he does for clients.

A Little More About Dennis
Dennis has made it his mission to explore Colorado's ski towns, not for the slopes, but for the stunning mountain scenery and restorative hot springs. Breckenridge and Winter Park are already checked off the list. Telluride is next.
