Cori Dobson

Cori began her career in the legal field in Colorado Springs, her native town. She primarily works in the area of estate administration. She has worked in the legal field since 2004 with experience ranging from commercial litigation, banking, bankruptcy, corporate, civil litigation, criminal, employment, secured transactions, title insurance, trademark, copyright, white collar defense, estates, foreclosure, real property transactions, public utilities commission and various family law matters. Cori started her own contract paralegal business over 5 years ago. She continues to grow her knowledge and expertise in the legal field.



Tienne McKenzie

Paralegal, Estate Planning

Tienne is a paralegal specializing in estate planning. She works closely with clients to determine their unique family situation, and assists with document creation to ensure all client concerns are responsibly met. She has been with the firm in one capacity or another since its start.

Born in Sydney, Australia, and raised in Chicago, Tienne graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, where she met Dan. Her enthusiasm for international issues led her to Washington, DC, where she published a monthly newsletter for the non-governmental agency InterAction. Following Dan to Chicago for law school, she worked in the legal department of the Jane Addams Hull House Association.

Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, Tienne has been an active member of the community, volunteering with various organizations. Her four kids ensure she has a solid background in conflict-resolution, integrative management, child-development, and motivational speaking. She is passionate about nutrition, literature, and social justice.


Dana VanLiew

Client Relationship Specialist

Dana VanLiew is our Client Relationship Specialist. Her passion is helping people, and working with The McKenzie Law Firm allows her to nurture and build relationships that are intended to last a lifetime.

She has a background in administrative services and customer relations, but found her previous jobs didn’t include the personal focus she was looking for. She considers it extremely gratifying to be able to help people plan for themselves, their families, and their futures.

A proud native of Colorado, she feels lucky to live in such a beautiful place. She is fully devoted to her family of four boys and two beautiful Vizslas. Dana also enjoys riding her motorcycle, attending concerts, and traveling. She has been a volunteer for the MS and Kidney Foundation for years.
