Dan McKenzie

Attorney and Owner

Dan McKenzie founded the McKenzie Law Firm, LLC in 2013, following 10 years of work as a trial lawyer. As a trial lawyer, Dan helped consumers who had been defrauded by unfair business practices or who had been physically injured by poorly designed and inadequately tested products. Since opening The McKenzie Law Firm, Dan’s goal has been to help clients identify and mitigate their risks to the full extent possible, with the goal of avoiding expensive and time-consuming litigation.

Dan is a Colorado native and is happy to now be raising four kids of his own here. As a parent, he makes it a point of special emphasis to help other parents of dependent children appreciate the need to have a proper estate plan in place.

Mark Pirozzi

Of Counsel Attorney

Prior to moving to Littleton in 2017, Mark was actively engaged in the private practice of law in northeast Ohio for more than 20 years. Mark focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianships, Medicaid planning, disability trusts and special needs planning.

Through his estate planning practice, Mark provides advice, counseling and the required documents to carefully plan for not only death, but also the possibility of his client’s serious disability.
Mark also offers guidance as to the most cost-effective way to administer a probate or trust settlement process so that the intended beneficiaries receive their inheritance as inexpensively and as quickly as possible.
Estate disputes occasionally arise when a beneficiary believes there has been improper asset distribution after the death of a loved one. A probate or trust dispute resolution may involve mediation, the collaborative law process, or litigation. Mark has advocated for his clients’ rights in claims including will contests, challenging an executor’s actions, and other matters when the executor or trustee did not perform his or her duties properly.
“The best part of estate planning is working with clients to create a plan that makes sense and accomplishes their objectives.”- Mark Pirozzi
Mark’s wife, Philomena D. Pirozzi, M.D., is a family practice physician with South Park Internal Medicine in Highlands Ranch. Together, they have four kids: Michael, a physician with a large hospitalist group in Salt Lake City, UT; Jeff, an engineer with Lockheed Martin in Littleton, CO; Sara, a Research Supervisor for MIM Software in Beachwood, OH; and Samara, a student at Front Range Christian School.
Mark enjoys hockey and golf; and refereeing high school soccer and lacrosse.
