60 Minutes had a fascinating story last night on Michael Jackson and the financial windfall his estate is reaping cashing in on his legacy. Not surprisingly for someone of his notoriety, the story includes a will contest and a large number of claims made against the estate, many of them bogus according to his personal representative. Jackson might be pulling in more money dead than he ever did alive, thanks to corporate sponsors now being able to exploit his artistic talents without having to worry about the “ick factor” so often associated with him in the later years of his life resurfacing due to some new scandal.
